This program provides HR professionals and supervisors with practical tools to identify and respond to domestic violence impacting the workplace. It covers legal obligations under California law, including Labor Code sections 230 and 230.1 regarding leave rights and reasonable accommodations. Participants will learn specific protocols for supporting employees currently experiencing abuse, those who have recently left a situation, and managing immediate safety threats if an abuser appears on-site. The course focuses on safety planning, confidentiality, and building a supportive environment to maintain workforce stability and employee well-being.
